(2Chronicles 6:32~34)“Moreover, concerning a foreigner, who is not of Your people Israel, but who comes from a far country for the sake of Your great name and Your mighty hand and Your outstretched arm, when they come and pray in this temple; “then hear from heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, that all peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that this temple which I have builtis called by Your name. “When Your people go out to battle against their enemies, wherever You send them, and when they pray to You toward this city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name,
(2Chronicles 6:38)“and when they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and pray toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and toward the temple which I have builtfor Your name:
(Psalms 127:1)<<A Song of degrees for Solomon.>>Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vainthat build it:
(Ecclesiastes 2:11)Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done And on the labor in which I had toiled; And indeed all was vanityand grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun.
(1Kings 8:62-64)Then the king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices before the LORD. And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to the LORD, twenty-two thousand bullsand one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD. On the same day the king consecrated the middle of the courtthat was in front of the house of the LORD; for there he offered burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that was before the LORD was too smallto receive the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.
(Deuteronomy 8:10~14,17~18)“When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.” Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, “lest-when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful housesand dwell in them; “and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; “when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD your Godwho brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;. and lest thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
(Ecclesiastes 1:16)Icommuned with myheart, saying, “Look, I have attained greatness, and have gained more wisdom than all who were before mein Jerusalem. Myheart has understood great wisdom and knowledge.”

Now take your time and listen to what Solomon declared about life in Ecc 2, the next chapter:
(Ecclesiastes 2:1)Isaid in myheart, “Come now, Iwill test you with mirth; therefore enjoy pleasure”; but surely, this also was vanity. 3Isearched in myheart how to gratify myfleshwith wine, while guiding myheart with wisdom, and how to lay hold on folly, till Imight see what was good for the sons of men to do under heaven all the days of their lives. 4Imademyworks great, Ibuiltmyselfhouses, and planted myselfvineyards. 5Imademyselfgardens and orchards, and Iplanted all kinds of fruit trees in them. 6I made myselfwater pools from which to water the growing trees of the grove. 7Iacquired male and female servants, and had servants born in myhouse. Yes, Ihad greater possessions of herds and flocksthan all who were in Jerusalem before me. 8Ialso gathered for myselfsilver and goldand the special treasures of kings and of the provinces. Iacquired male and female singers, the delights of the sons of men, and musical instruments of all kinds. 9So Ibecame greatand excelled more than all who were before me in Jerusalem. Also mywisdom remained with me. 10 Whatever myeyes desired Idid not keep from them. Idid not withhold myheart from any pleasure, formyheart rejoiced in all mylabor; and this was myreward from all mylabor. 11Then Ilooked on all the works that myhands had done and on the labor in which Ihad toiled; And indeed all was vanityand grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun. 14The wise man’s eyes are in his head, but the foolwalks in darkness. Yet Imyselfperceived that the same event happens to them all. 15So Isaid in myheart, “As it happens to the fool, it also happens to me,And why was I then more wise?” Then Isaid in myheart, “This also is vanity.” 16For there is no more remembrance of the wise than of the foolforever, Since all that now is will be forgotten in the days to come. And how does a wise man die? As the fool! 17Therefore Ihated lifebecause the work that was done under the sun was distressing to me, for all is vanity and grasping for the wind. 18ThenIhated all my laborin which Ihad toiled under the sun, because Imust leave it to the man who will come after me.19And who knows whether he will be wise or a fool? Yet he will rule over all my labor in which I toiled and in which I have shown myselfwise under the sun. This also is vanity. 20Therefore I turned myheart and despaired of all the labor in whichIhad toiled under the sun. 21For there is a man whose labor is with wisdom, knowledge, and skill; yet he must leave his heritage to a manwho has not labored for it. This also is vanity and a great evil.24Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God.
(Luke 12:16~21) Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich manyielded plentifully.” And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall Ido, since I have no room to store my crops?’” So he said, ‘Iwill do this: Iwill pull down mybarns and build greater, and thereIwill store all mycrops and mygoods. ‘And Iwill say to mysoul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.“‘ “But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’ “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”
(Luke 12:27)“Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
(Ecclesiastes 8:15)So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry;for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun.
